Urban Allstars Majorettes

live, laugh, love, TWIRL!

                                            A little bit about us........

The Urban Allstars were formed back in May 2006. They are run by troupe leader Nikki Howard, and deputy troupe leader Graham Mann. We also have support from many of the parents covering all sorts of things such as making the outfits, transporting the equipment, and providing carnival vehicles to name a few, so it's very much a team effort. We are a registered charity (No 1117784), and we are members of S.A.F.E (Safer Activities for Everyone).

The troupe members currently range from 5 years old to young adults.

They are trained by Sarah Fisk, Ebony Mitchell, Emma Garnham, Annabelle Mann and Georgie Fitch.

Members train twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hillside Primary School in Ipswich. The pee wee and juvenile members train 6.30pm to 7.30pm and the junior and senior members train 7.30pm to 9.00pm. In addition to this, nearer to competitions, extra training sessions are held for the competition teams. Times for these practice sessions vary.

The troupe are proud members of the UKFM (United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes), and BMSA (British Majorettes Sports Association). They perform at fetes, carnivals and other summer events and compete in groups and individually at UKFM and BMSA competitions all year round.
